I’m Jim Clark, owner of Two Guys and a Garage.
I have 20+ years experience working in the auto repair industry and have dreamt of this day of running my own shop.
I believe there’s nothing more important than customer service. How you treat people says everything about you. When I was managing a Belle Tire site years ago, when I first entered the business, I promoted the guys who truly cared about their work and took pride in the quality of their craft, be it as an auto technician or as a service rep. That commonality of professionalism was the basis for good friendships that have lasted to this day. My business partner and friend of 40-plus years, Bruce Andras, shares these ideals and ethics.
I get to go to work everyday with people I respect and genuinely like. Nothing beats that.
What do we do? We fix your vehicles. That simple.
More important is the question of why we are doing it. We have worked in this field all our lives and have grown a genuine passion for it. We’re not trying to re-create the wheel – but we are going to make it better.
We promise great service at competitive prices with quality parts in a comfortable, no-pressure atmosphere.
When you bring your car to us, we will tell you what is wrong with it, what it will take to fix it, and how much it will cost – the decision is up to you. Period. We know this sounds like an obvious statement, but there are a lot of shops that don’t abide by this philosophy, because they’ve lost sight of what they’re there for in the first place.
We are going to re-build the good name of the auto repair shop, one customer at a time.
Open Invitation: Every weekend during the spring, summer and fall you can find my father Larry and I bass fishing in any of our favorite lakes in South East Michigan. Wolverine Lake is our home lake, and if you ever feel like joining us sometime, let us know.
